The small family-operated apartment complex is located in Stalos, a charming vacation village in the north western part of the island of Crete.

Stalos, with its long, sandy beach, is ideal for children. The town is located 7 km from beautiful Chania, one of the most picturesque cities in Greece.

The Chania airport is only 25 km from Stalos, the Heraklion airport is 160 km distant.

Villa Elisa is located on a slope amidst olive trees and grape orchards. From this quiet site above the village of Stalos you can take in the panorama of the coastline and the nature reserve island Theodorou.

The landscaped grounds enchant our guests and make them feel as if they were in paradise.

Both the Mediterranean architecture of the house and the garden, with palm trees, a plethora of flowers and flowering shrubs, the swimming pool which beckons you to enjoy a cooling dip, and the wonderful coastal panorama combine to create an extraordinary vacation setting.

The expansive sandy beach and the deep blue water of the Mediterranean Sea are only 400 meters from the Villa Elisa. The water quality is exceptionally good. Stalos beach has been ranked with an EU blue flag for its clear, clean water. Many beach kiosks and beach bars invite you to enjoy their selection of snacks and beverages.

The closest restaurants (Taverne) are only a short walking distance (five to ten minutes) away and offer genuine Cretan hospitality and culinary specialties. You can find an even greater selection of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, small grocery and general stores and shops along the coastal road behind the beach. And for more extensive (grocery) shopping, a Lidl-Market is only 2 km from the Villa Elisa on the road to Chania.

The Villa has differnt studios and apartments. The grounds include a fresh-water pool and children’s wading pool with sun umbrellas and beach lounge chairs as well as a more shaded area with a barbecue/grill for the use of the guests.

Your friendly hosts, the Humbert Familiy with Cretan Elisabeth, live also on the premises and can offer you many suggestions for day excursions or respond to other questions you may have. You can call on them without hesitation for all of your needs. Their heartfelt Cretan hospitality makes you feel right at home.

Your choice of living quarters within the Villa Elisa

Studios (for 1 – 3 persons)

Friendly light-filled modern room furnished with comfortable, high-quality furniture, one living room/bedroom for daytime activities/couch-convertible sofa bed, dresser/clothes cupboard. Kitchenette unit with 2 ceramic-hobs, undercounter refrigerator with freezer unit and sink, toilet with shower, air-conditioning, room safe for valuables, satellite TV, balcony with ocean view.

Apartments (for 2 – 4/5 persons)

Identical furnishings as the studios, but more spacious and equipped with an additional bedroom with double bed and clothes cupboard. The living room/bedroom is furnished with a comfortable convertible sofa bed for one or two persons.

No two studios or apartments are the same, each has an individual floor plan and no two are exactly the same size. Each unit has a balcony with a wonderful ocean view.

Important information:

No meals are served in the Villa Elisa. We do not offer breakfast for our guests. The kitchen unit in each studio or apartment is completely equipped for any cooking you may wish to do. A bakery for rolls, croissants, bread etc. is located only a few minutes on foot from our vacation apartment facility. It goes without saying that you always have the option of eating breakfast in one of the small cafes or restaurants nearby, if you do not wish to start the day with breakfast on your balcony with the inviting ocean panorama before your eyes.
